Ryan Homes is a subsidiary of NVR, a Fortune 500 company based out of Reston, Virginia. They are one of the top 20 largest home building companies in the country, building homes in 13 states: Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Ryan Homes is known for building stylish, quality homes that are often ready to move into, yet they will also work with home owners to construct homes that they jointly design. Their homes range from affordable residences to luxury homes, depending on the neighborhoods and request of their customers. Most of the time when they build model homes for visitors to see, they go all out and show all the options that an owner might want in their home.
Ryan Homes began as a family business based in Pittsburgh, PA in 1948. They merged with NVHomes in 1979 to create the corporation NVR, and are now one of four brands of homes under that umbrella, which includes Fox Ridge Homes and Rymarc Homes. Ryan Homes builds single family homes, townhomes, and condominiums, and has delivered more than 300,000 homes. As a part of their corporation, they also have their own financing branch, NVR Mortgage.
Ryan Homes has moved towards becoming a green home builder, and every one of their homes is ENERGY STAR® certified. Even in the homes they build with many open spaces, keeping energy costs low is something they strive for.
